God Is Always On Time
Gods Timing Is Always Right On Time
For over a decade, this book lived quietly in my heart. There were seasons I wrote. Seasons I doubted. Seasons I procrastinated. And seasons I wondered if I had missed my moment.
I knew God had asked me to write it. But obedience doesn’t always come with a deadline. And it certainly doesn’t come with a launch strategy.
When the manuscript finally went to the publisher, I had zero control over what happened next. Formatting. Proofing. Printing. Distribution. Amazon listing. Algorithms. Timelines. All of it was out of my hands.
A few weeks ago, I quietly hoped it might go live on Valentine’s Day. A book about the unconditional love of Jesus releasing on the day the world celebrates love? It felt poetic.
But hope is not control.
I didn’t know when it would actually release. No countdown clock. No guaranteed date. Just waiting. And then… it went live. On Valentine’s Day. Not because I planned it. Not because I orchestrated it. But because God did.
Isaiah 55:8–9 tells us: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
We quote that verse when things don’t go our way. But what about when they go better than we imagined?
This book has been over ten years in the making. Ten years of refining. Ten years of pruning. Ten years of God shaping not just the manuscript — but me.
If it had released a decade ago, it would have been less honest. Less bold. Less surrendered.
God’s timing wasn’t late. It was precise.
And let’s be honest — look at the world right now. Anxiety is at an all-time high. Loneliness is epidemic. People are spiritually curious but allergic to religion. They want authenticity. They want hope. They want love that doesn’t cancel them when they fail.
They need Jesus. Not the performative, rule-book caricature version. The real One. The Friend. The Savior. The steady, unwavering, ride-or-die kind of love.
Maybe this book didn’t release when I first wanted it to because it wasn’t for that season. Maybe it’s for this one.
Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance. It’s about love. And the greatest love story ever written didn’t start with roses — it started with a cross.
If there’s one thing this journey has reminded me, it’s this: We control obedience. God controls outcomes.
And when we finally let go of the timeline, He often exceeds it.
I thought I was waiting on a release date.
God was writing a story.
